In some cases, the price increase amounted to 50%.
According to the data of the agency "Autostat", the average price of used passenger cars in Russia continues to grow. As of this November it has reached 1 million 583 thousand rubles. Pavel Samiev, General Director of the analytical agency "BusinessDrom" and Chairman of the committee of "Opora Rossii" on financial markets, notes the continued high demand for cars in the country.
According to him aif.ru, over the past month, prices for used cars have increased by 4%, which amounted to about 65 thousand rubles. Analyzing the changes for the year, experts noted an increase of 26%, which equals 325 thousand rubles. These changes directly depend on many factors, including the year of release of the car, its make and model. For example, over the past 12 months, the price of a five-year-old LADA 4×4 SUV has increased by 18%, while foreign cars have gone up in price even more. The seven-year-old Nissan Qashqai crossover has risen in price by 28%, and the three-year-old Kia Rio - by 46%.
According to Pavel Samiev, the demand for cars, both new and used, remains stably high, and price reductions are unlikely.
At the same time, the year 2024 is unlikely to bring dramatic changes in prices, but the trend towards price growth will continue. People are ready to buy, the level of consumer optimism is now at its peak. But given inflation, people fear that prices will continue to rise, which is driving demand for almost all goods and services.
Along with the rise in car prices, the number of car loans in Russia is also increasing. Over the year, the number of loans issued increased by 41.6% year-on-year, reaching 56.1 thousand, according to the National Bureau of Credit Histories. This is partly due to a sharp decline in the issuance of car loans in 2022.
In October this year, a new record was set for the average size of an auto loan in the country - it amounted to 1.56 million rubles. The average check for the purchase of a car has grown by 4.5% since September, and for the year - by 47.1%. This growth is due, in particular, to the increase in car prices. The highest average amounts of car loans were recorded in Moscow (Br2.04 million) and KMAO (Br1.68 million), as well as in St. Petersburg (Br1.83 million) and Kuban (Br1.69 million).
Recall that earlier a potential LADA novelty was officially shown.
