It has become known what Russian motorists have started to save money on.
Analysts from Renaissance Insurance and the Avtokod service have found out what Russian motorists have started saving money on. The results of the research were at RT's disposal. 1.6 thousand car owners over the age of 18 living in major Russian cities took part in the survey.
Thus, 26% of respondents said that they started to go to car washes less often. Another 25% come to car services with pre-purchased spare parts.
22% stopped buying various car accessories and tuning items. 21% switched to non-original spare parts, 17% reduced the number of visits to service centers, 12% began to use public transport more often.
The most common reasons for Russians to save money on car maintenance were expensive spare parts (47%), car service centers (30%), rising fuel prices (26%) and cars themselves (21%).
