The production facilities of the Toyota branch in the village of Shushary in the Leningrad region are closing after six months of downtime.

In particular, the company specified that they "do not see any real possibility to continue the assembly of cars" due to the disruption of the supply of components and the impossibility of replacing them with something else.

During the entire six months of downtime 2,000 workers at the Russian plant were on standby mode and were paid accordingly.
