The Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad has started production of the KIA Carnival crossover van. The car will go on sale in the second quarter of this year.
The novelty is equipped with a petrol (3.5 litre) and diesel (2.2 litre) engine of Smartstream family, 8-speed automatic transmission and the front axle drive, the company announced.
Earlier it was reported that the price of Comfort version of KIA Carnival with 2.2 CRDi diesel engine and 8-speed automatic was 2.5 million rubles.
The overall length of the new Carnival has increased by 40 mm - up to 5155 mm, the rear overhang has increased by 30 mm (up to 1130 mm). Ground clearance is 182 mm.
The interior features a panoramic touchscreen display, an elaborate configuration and comfortable seating on three or four rows of seats.
