Problems were identified in the Model 3 and Model Y in the U.S. due to a software error.
Tesla is recalling 321,000 Model 3 and Model Y electric cars in the U.S. due to a problem in the software, reports The Verge.
The company attributed it to a defect in the rear headlights. The light on them does not start "blinking", due to which there are false responses of the fault detection system.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of America notes that non-functioning headlights on electric cars often lead to accidents, but the corporation itself said it had not heard of such studies.
All electric cars will receive an operating system update to fix the bug.
