The Ferrari Roma sports car has lost its roof. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.
Ferrari has presented its latest model, the Roma Spider convertible. It is an open modification of the Roma coupe, which still seats four people. Technically, the novelty is close to the coupe. It has a classic layout with a motor in the front and rear-wheel drive. The 3.9-liter V8 engine is turbocharged and develops 620 horsepower.
The main difference is the soft folding roof, which can be raised or retracted at speeds up to 60 km/h. If the roof is not lowered at speeds higher than that, the driver will be saved by special windshield parts.
The prices are not reported yet. Roma will ask from 250 thousand dollars for the coupe. Probably, the convertible will be more expensive.
