The State Traffic Safety Inspectorate has prepared new types of faults for drivers, for which it will be possible to pay a fine, according to the newspaper "Kommersant". At the same time, the draft "list of faults and conditions" still has to be approved by the State Duma.
Thus, the authorities will determine the fines for driving on unseasonal tires - the penalty for the use of summer tires in the winter, and studded tires in the summer will be 500 rubles. At the same time, regions with colder climates will get the right to raise the duration of the ban themselves.
Also, there will be fines for driving with headlights, not provided by the operating documentation.
Also, the inspector could get the right to fine for not working ABS system, if he sees the corresponding indicator on the dashboard.
At last, it was decided, there will be no fine for DVRs, and lack of first-aid kit, fire extinguisher and warning triangle will not become a reason for punishment.
Most likely, the new fines will come into force from September 1, 2023.
