The new Japanese crossover Toyota Wildlander is ahead of its closest competitor, KIA Sportage, in popularity and sales.
The car first went on sale in May 2020, more than 41 thousand cars were sold on the Chinese market for three months. As for the South Korean crossover, it sold 34 thousand cars. The Japanese soft-roader is made on the basis of RAV4 and has an individual style of head optics, bumpers, a radiator, as well as enlarged dimensions.
The novelty received extended options: a surround camera system, a push-button engine start, an emergency braking system. The crossover is equipped with a 2-liter atmospheric engine with a capacity of 171 horsepower. A version with a 222-horsepower hybrid unit is also available.
