The rules for the calculation of the utilization tax on motor vehicles for individuals in Russia have changed.
This has led to a significant increase in payments for citizens, said economic observer Yuri Pronko on the air of the program "Tsargrad. Main."
According to Pronko, in some cases these fees for individuals have increased 250 times and equaled the rates for legal entities. Deputies are currently busy dealing with this situation.
In the program the father of many children Artyom Sunegin told his worries about the increase of the recycling fee. He told about his attempt to buy a large car for his family, taking into account the nearest replenishment.
He bought the desired car, and in the end the whole family found itself in a situation when the duty increased from 5,200 rubles to 1 million 279 thousand rubles, which is almost half the cost of the car, Artyom shared his experience.
He expressed hope that the situation with the increase in the utilization fee will be resolved by the government or deputies, otherwise he may have to sell the car with great financial losses.
