The car will become a competitor to Tesla Model Y.
American automaker Ford announced its plans to expand its presence in the electric car market. The company plans to gain the interest of motorists due to the updated version of Mustang Mach-E, which will become fully electric.
Despite Ford's relatively limited experience with the electric car market, the company has already stated that the new Mustang Mach-E will be positioned as a direct competitor to Tesla Model Y, Mercedes-Benz EQC and Jaguar I-Pace.
Ford representatives also noted that the Mustang Mach-E will be only the first step of the company on the way to conquering the electric car market and in the near future their range of electric cars will be significantly expanded.
