Nissan's plant in Sunderland, UK, has started production of the updated Qashqai hybrid crossover with the e-Power system. This technology uses a 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine solely as a generator, while the wheels are driven by an electric motor.
Key benefits:
- Record driving range - up to 1200 km on a single refueling charge
- Economical - consumption of only 4.5 liters/100 km
- Quiet operation and smooth acceleration thanks to the electric drive system
Production of the new version is part of Nissan's ambitious £1 billion EV36Zero strategy, which will turn the plant into a center of electric vehicle technology. In the coming years, the new generation Leaf and the electric Juke will begin production here.
Earlier, the Chevrolet Suburban 2025 returned to Russia - now with a diesel engine.
