Honda Motor Co. has become the first Japanese automaker to launch online sales of cars.
This solution was implemented in the form of a subscription sales program, which involves monthly payments.
The payments themselves include the cost of the car and its maintenance for a period of 3 to 5 years.
At the end of the allotted term, the client will be able to buy the car at the residual value or take another subscription.
Previously, Volvo and Mercedes-Benz used such projects. And if in the first case, such a service enjoys success to this day, the Germans had to wind it down because of low demand.
