The Iranian company Iran Khodro said it has begun official deliveries of cars in Russia.
According to Mehdi Khatibi, the general director of the company, by the end of 2023 the firm will export about two thousand Tara and Dana cars to the Russian market. Agreements on the supply of cars from Iran were reached at the Moscow Motor Show. After that there was signed a document on the supply of cars for 300 million dollars.
We should point out that Tara is turned from Peugeot 301, and Dana is based on Peugeot 405.
Earlier the general director of the company noted that the company plans to pay special attention to the Russian market, and also thinks about partnership with Russian investors.
