Chevrolet has revealed its cheapest electric car in the lineup, the Equinox EV. Its assembly won't start until next fall in Mexico, but the price has already been announced, starting at $30,000.

The electric car's architecture includes Ultium technology powered by Silverado and Blazer batteries. The base front-wheel-drive model will feature an electric motor with 210 horsepower and 328 Nm.

Full drive will get a pair of electric motors that give a total of up to 290 hp and 469 Nm. Acceleration in this variant gives up to 97 km/h for 6 seconds.

At the same time the volume of these batteries is not declassified, but it is noted that for a car with leading front wheels there will be two variants with cruising range of 402 and 483 km. For the all-wheel-drive Equinox EV, it promises a maximum range of 451 km.

All of the car's configurations will have a digital dashboard and multimedia with an 11-inch screen.

In addition, the electric car's options include an extended touchscreen infotainment system, a projection screen, climate control in two zones, as well as Super Cruise autopilot.
