According to Autostat in July 2022 sales of Korean cars for the first time were lower than sales of cars of Chinese manufacturers.
According to TASS agency, citing Avostat data, in July this year, sales of Chinese-made cars accounted for 24.3% of total sales in Russia.
"In July 2022, Russians bought 8,642 new passenger cars of Chinese brands, which is 24.3% of the total market", - reported in Autostat, based on the figures of JSC Electronic Passport.
It is noted that the share of sales of Chinese cars for the first time was higher than sales of Korean brands, which in July 2022 sold 21.2% of the total sales of automotive products.
The leaders in sales in the segment of Chinese manufacturers were Chery, Geely, Haval and EXEED.
