Fully electric Volvo XC40 Recharge P8 enters production

The Swedish company Volvo launched the production of electric cars XC40 Recharge with a capacity of 410 horsepower.

Swedish automaker Volvo Cars begins assembling the electric car XC40 Recharge P8 with a capacity of 410 horsepower, while cars of the first release have already been sold out. Owners will be able to receive them at the end of October this year. The cost of a car starts from 55 thousand US dollars.

A four-wheel drive car overcomes more than 400 kilometers before recharging, and it charges from 0 to 80% for just 40 minutes. XC40 Recharge is equipped with a 78 kW/h traction battery.

For acceleration from 0 to 97 km/h, the car needs 4.7 seconds. The maximum speed is 180 km/h.

Instead of the usual radiator grille, a special plug will be installed in the car. It will be easy to recognize an electrical car by bumpers.
