Manufacturer Hyundai has unveiled a modernized version of the Sonata, which is designed for the North American market.
Visually, the car is similar to the Sonata sedan, which debuted in the spring for South Korea. At the same time, the new version has its own engine range, which consists of two internal combustion engines and a hybrid unit, with an all-wheel drive system announced for one of the engines.
In the cabin - two 12.3-inch displays, the selector box is moved to the steering column. The car was given a new steering wheel and climate control unit.
The novelty is equipped with 2.5-liter atmospheric and turbocharged engines, a gasoline-electric powertrain based on a 2-liter motor.
The all-wheel drive system is still going to be offered in conjunction with a non-turbocharged "four".
