29% of drivers in Russia plan to sell their car at a higher price in two years

A third of motorists in Russia in one or two years plan to sell their car for more than it currently costs.

10 thousand people from 15 major cities took part in the Autoteka survey. 29% of respondents said that they plan to sell cars at a higher price, 27% - at the same price, 22% of respondents said that selling a car will become less profitable.

40% said it has become more profitable to sell vehicles after the 2020 pandemic than before. Another 24% take a different view and believe that nothing has changed in terms of profitability. 17% believe it has become less profitable to sell autos after the pandemic.

As for reasons for selling a car, 24% said they like another car. Another 22% are willing to sell a car because of its obsolescence, while 20% have an opportunity to buy a new model instead of a second-hand car.
