Very soon, Russia, together with Kazakhstan, will begin to create a missile system on Baikonur. The parties finally signed the agreement on the Baiterek space project on October 31 in Moscow.

From Russia, changes to the intergovernmental agreement concluded earlier were approved by the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin, from Kazakhstan – by Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Baghdat Musin.

According to the new agreements, investments in the Russian-Kazakh Baiterek projects will amount to about a billion dollars. This missile system at Baikonur is designed for the new Soyuz-5 launch vehicle.

According to Rogozin, he will compete with all such foreign projects.

Kazakhstan is responsible for the infrastructure on earth, Russia is responsible for the creation of launch vehicles.
