Pentagon announces three successful development tests for hypersonic weapons

The tests were conducted at NASA's Wallops Space Center on Wallops Island.

The Pentagon announced three successful tests aimed at developing hypersonic weapons.

As reported by Reuters, the Pentagon was informed that the ground forces and the US Navy last Wednesday conducted "tests of prototype components of hypersonic weapons."

It is noted that the defense department regarded all three tests as "successful".
