Representatives of local authorities, foreign diplomats and city residents came to a park near the Imperial War Museum to lay wreaths at a memorial to Red Army soldiers and civilians killed during World War II, TASS writes.
Russian Ambassador Andrey Kelin said that preserving the memory of the fallen Red Army soldiers is the duty of all victorious countries. According to him, unlike some European countries, Great Britain does not allow itself to destroy monuments.
