Thus, the total number of visitors in a pandemic year decreased by 67.5%. In addition, the number of tourists decreased by 93%.
In 2020, 3.63 million people from Ukraine were the most frequent visitors to Russia. In addition, the top five countries also included Kazakhstan - 1.4 million people, Uzbekistan - 720 thousand people, Tajikistan - 401.8 thousand people and Kyrgyzstan - 299.6 thousand people.
The top ten countries whose citizens visited Russia in 2020 included Azerbaijan, Armenia, Finland, Belarus and China.
The tourist flow came mainly from China.
