The Ice Hockey Federation of the Russian Federation has named the composition of the national team for the 2022 Olympics. The final team of Alexei Zhamnov includes three goalkeepers, eight defenders and 14 forwards.

The final application included 7 hockey players from CSKA Moscow, three representatives each from St. Petersburg SKA, Metallurg Magnitogorsk, Avangard Omsk and Lokomotiv Yaroslavl, two players each from Ak Bars and Dynamo Moscow .
