According to the Telegram channel Mash, about two thousand students have already turned to the Russian government. They asked for permission to return to the country and allow them to continue their studies. They cannot come to Russia by themselves, since study is not considered the basis for crossing the border.
Among those who turned to the Russian government are students who study under the Rossotrudnichestvo quota, future doctors, students of theater specialties. The latter complain that training in creative professions cannot be conducted in a distant format. Therefore, while attending abroad, they miss classes in acting, stage speech and fencing.
Lawyer Ivan Melnikov noted that he had already turned to Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova with a request to help students resolve this issue. The Russian government has not yet commented on this situation.
