Poll: 60% of Russians are in favor of abolishing the Unified State Examination

The number of opponents of the unified state examination reached the figure of 60% - that is how many Russians advocate the abolition of this type of examination in grades 11.

This conclusion was made by Otkritie Bank after a survey. Most of the respondents agitating against the Unified State Examination live in the North Caucasus region (75%), and the least of them live in Moscow and Moscow suburbs (55%). At the same time, 7% of Russian citizens treat this format of the exam with indifference, RIA Novosti reported.

Only 7% of respondents also unequivocally support the Unified State Examination. About 25% of citizens have a normal attitude toward the exam - everyone has already used to it.

The survey was conducted on January 13-19th on a representative sample of thousand respondents. The age of respondents is 18-65 years old, the opinion of residents of cities with populations over 100,000 people was taken into account.
