There is an expansion of wealth in the world. Fixed assets are concentrated in the hands of a small group of super-rich people. Russia was classified as one of the Western states where super-wealth can be “earned” in 110 years. The same situation is in the Netherlands, France, Australia, RBK Group reports.
According to Svetlana Mareeva, head of the Stratification Research Center at the Institute of Social Policy of the National Research University Higher School of Economics, Russia is a "middle class" in the world by the level of inequality. In our country there is no problem of extreme poverty as such, when people are engaged in survival.
At the same time, Russia has become one of the leaders in terms of concentration of wealth: 1% of the population holds 43-56% of monetary resources.
