Coral reed taller than Eiffel tower found in Australia

An unusually high and large coral reef was found in the waters of Australia. This was reported by scientists from the Schmidt Ocean Institute, according to which the height of the reef reaches 500 meters, which makes it higher than the Paris Eiffel Tower.

It was possible to find a new reef close to one of the ridges of the Great Barrier Reef. The width of the find is 1.5 km, and the height is so large that it does not get only 40 cm in order to appear above the water.

Scientists note that the reef they discovered is only one of the few separate reefs in a given area of the ocean, and they are likely not able to make another such find.
