Representatives of Smolny informed that, since October 26 in St. Petersburg, transport companies may refuse passengers without masks and gloves to pass in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection. This rule also applies to taxi services.
Meanwhile, drivers are also required to comply with the rules. They can drive an empty bus without a mask if the transport is uninfected.
It is worth noting that the tightening of the mask regime since October 26 in St. Petersburg, will lead to increasing of raids involving police officers, who will monitor compliance with anti-epidemic regulations.
Today, passenger traffic in St. Petersburg decreased by 0.7% compared to last week and amounted to 77% of the same period in 2019.
