According to the news agency "Nevsky Novosti" with reference to the head of the regional branch of "Immortal Regiment of Russia" in St. Petersburg, Andrei Krasnobaev, this year's Victory Day procession will take its usual route.
He said that the event had been agreed with the city administration on April 5. The beginning of the procession has been tentatively agreed to 15:00, the participants will gather at Vosstaniya Square.
Both residents of St. Petersburg and guests of the city will be able to participate. Krasnobaev said that there will be no restrictions. However, those who are not feeling well are advised not to attend the event.
He added that the Immortal Regiment is first and foremost a procession to preserve the memory of the participants of the Great Patriotic War.
