UK told about non-public measures against Russia

The British authorities have taken a number of non-public measures against Russia after the Salisbury incident. This was told by ex-adviser to the Prime Minister on national security Mark Sedwill.

UK told about non-public measures against Russia

He gave an interview to The Times and informed that there were restrictions regarding, in particular, the illegal withdrawal of money from Russia, as well as some other measures. The former adviser did not specify which ones.

He also explained why the UK has not yet used cyber attacks against Russia. After all, London has great potential in this area.

Sedwill said: the fact that they do not see this does not mean that it is not done. At the same time he added that there was nothing illegal.

We remind that in the spring of 2018, ex-GRU officer Sergei Skripal and his daughter were poisoned in Salisbury, England. The world believes that Russia is involved in this. Our authorities deny this.
