The United States would like to work with Russia and China, as well as other countries, to develop norms of responsible space behavior. Such a statement was made by the head of the US Department of State Anthony Blinken in his speech at the UN Conference on Disarmament.
Washington is also ready to work with Russia on other issues of strategic stability, he added. Blinken said the US objectively assesses all of the risks associated with the use of nuclear weapons by both Washington and Moscow.

Blinken reminded that recently the US and Russia had prolonged the START-3 treaty for five years. The diplomat noted that the prolongation of the nuclear arms reduction treaty made the world a little safer.
