"Natalia Poklonskaya's personal circumstances have changed, so her departure to Cape Verde for the position of ambassador will not take place," the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

Later, Natalia Poklonskaya herself commented on this information. "My personal circumstances have changed. I have always said that I want to be useful to our state and am ready to take any post where I am useful," Natalia Poklonskaya told TASS in an interview.

According to her, all the "benefits" of the diplomatic service she never took advantage of. "I want to answer all those who consider themselves investigators of corruption scandals: I did not enjoy the privileges of an ambassador without taking office.
