"Over the past day, 648 refugees have returned to their homes. Since November 14, 1,709 people have arrived in Nagorno-Karabakh, who were forced to leave their homes due to hostilities," Igor Konashenkov said.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense emphasized that the ceasefire is observed along the entire line of contact. The exchange of dead bodies continues with the assistance of Russian peacekeepers and the International Committee of the Red Cross.
In addition, Igor Konashenkov noted, military police patrols and peacekeepers ensure the safety of movement along the road through the Lachin corridor to Stepanakert. On the evening of 17 November, it was reported that 1,207 refugees had returned to Nagorno-Karabakh.
Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin noted that Western countries are trying to shatter the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh. In addition, attempts are being made to resume hostilities.
