Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that Belarus will be able to send oil products from Lithuania to Russia in the amount of 4-6 million tons.
The official made such a statement during an interview with “Russia 24”.
He noted that it primarily refers to the northwestern cluster - this is Primorsk, St. Petersburg, Ust-Luga.
The head of the department expressed hope that agreements on supplies will be reached in the near future.
Earlier, we remind, it was about the redirection of 3-4 tons of petroleum products.
Russia and Belarus began to discuss the diversification of supplies amid the political crisis in the latter: Lithuania expressed support for the protesters in Belarus. Alexander Lukashenko, in turn, criticized such statements.
