So, at 10.12 Moscow time, the Moscow Exchange index showed a drop of 4.36%, to 1998.7 points, the RTS dollar index - by 5.07%, or to the level of 1083.91 points.
The largest drop was recorded at the level of 5.78%, or up to 1969.06 points. The shares of VTB fell as much as possible - -5%, as well as Gazprom - -4.58%.
Recall that strong fluctuations at the site began on September 21 after the announcement of partial mobilization in Russia. The Russian currency then showed a slight fall, but by Thursday evening it strengthened its positions.
