During a briefing on the results of the first day of the meeting of the North Atlantic alliance foreign ministers, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg assessed the conflicts in Ukraine and the Gaza Strip.

Justifying Tel Aviv's actions, the secretary-general said that Ukraine was allegedly subjected to unprovoked aggression. At the same time, Stoltenberg said that in any case, all participants in the conflicts are obliged to comply with the provisions of international law.

In addition, the NATO secretary general welcomed the establishment of a temporary truce in Gaza and wished that the conflict would not go beyond the region.

In his interview for the publication Bild, the head of the Israeli government Benjamin Netanyahu earlier spoke about the goals of the Israel Defense Forces in the Gaza Strip. According to him, Tel Aviv plans to demilitarize and de-radicalize the enclave.
