The Afghan currency gained 14% last year and another 9% in the third quarter of this year.
According to Bloomberg agency, experts analyzed the dynamics of the exchange rate of the national currency of Afghanistan and noted that it has become one of the most profitable in the world, despite the situation inside the state.
Strengthening of Afghani is due to the financial policy of the Taliban movement (banned in Russia). The Afghan authorities imposed a ban on transactions with dollars and Pakistani rupees on the territory of the country, on the export of U.S. currency, as well as on online currency trading.
In addition, official Kabul conducts active trade with neighboring states and regularly receives humanitarian aid.
However, against this background, unemployment is on the rise, and most rural residents cannot afford to buy basic necessities. The general deterioration of the situation in the country will lead to a rapid stabilization of the national currency.
Also experts believe that Afghanistan risks to remain without most of the humanitarian supplies due to the expansion of repressive measures against the female population.
Earlier it was reported that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan wants to conclude a fuel supply contract with Tatneft.
