On the official portal of the Department indicated that on September 18, the total amount of public debt of America is $ 33.04 trillion. This is a new record high, which exceeded the $32 trillion mark on June 16.
It should be noted that in January the legislatively established ceiling of the national debt was exceeded - 31.4 trillion.
