A family from Ukraine, who went to Canada after the start of the special operation of the Russian Federation, was not satisfied because of the high cost of living. The Canadian portal Global News wrote about it.
In the publication indicated that the Ukrainians settled in the province of Saskatchewan in May. Now the family with four children, doing everything possible to earn money to cover expenses. They complained that they did not expect such a high cost of living.
"In Ukraine, there's less spending on rent, on the house, food, clothes. Maybe that's why it's a little different for us," a Ukrainian woman said.
A special operation to protect residents of Donbass began Feb. 24, after which refugees poured from Ukraine into Europe, Canada and Britain. The UN reports that more than 6.3 million internally displaced people are in Europe.
