Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau: Authorities are monitoring the attack situation in Saskatchewan

Ten people were killed. Another 15 Canadians were stabbed.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau offered his condolences to relatives of the victims of the attacks in Saskatchewan and said authorities are monitoring the situation.

"Today's attacks in Saskatchewan are horrific and heartbreaking. <...> We are monitoring the situation closely and urge everyone to follow the news from local authorities," Trudeau wrote on his Twitter account.

The killings took place the day before in the settlements of James Smith Cree Nation and Weldon. Damien Sanders, 31, and Miles Sanders, 30, are believed to have stabbed 10 people and injured 15 more. They fled the scene. They are being searched.
