He emphasized the build-up of international ties, including the launch of direct flights with Vietnam, Myanmar and Havana by Aeroflot.

In addition, Chernyshenko said that negotiations are underway to introduce visa-free travel with several countries, such as Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Malaysia and Myanmar. Also under discussion are the issues of organizing visa-free group tourist trips with India.

An important step was the possibility for citizens of Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore and the Philippines to receive electronic visas to visit Russia for up to 16 days. In addition, Chernyshenko emphasized the successful implementation of the program for training Russian-speaking guides-interpreters in the countries of Southeast Asia, thanks to which more than 160 specialists of the tourist industry have already been trained.

Earlier, Russian tourists started traveling to Africa more often.
