Tickets for direct flights by the Russian airline Azimut and the Georgian company Georgian Airways are already on sale.
The Georgian Association of Restaurateurs predicts a high growth of tourist flow from Russia this summer. This was announced by the Chairman of the Georgian Restaurateurs Association Shota Burjanadze.
He noted that this was influenced by the launch of direct flights between the countries.
"I am sure that planes with Russian travelers will be full. For Georgian citizens living in Russia, the trip will also be comfortable," TASS quoted Burjanadze as saying.
Recall that the visa regime for Georgian citizens was removed on May 15. And on May 20, several airlines were allowed to fly directly to Russia.
