Russian tourists stopped booking accommodation in advance for the summer in November and December, according to a survey by the Tvill.ru service.
Analysts surveyed thousands of their clients. It turned out that half of Russian tourists stopped pre-booking vacation rentals in the summer of 2022 due to the unstable situation with the coronavirus and restrictions in the world.
Tourists also noted that they do not know the exact dates of vacations.
However, at least 5 percent of travelers surveyed do plan to rent accommodations one or two months before their trip - in April if the trip is planned for June.
Another 30% of travelers have already booked a summer vacation in October. 10% of Russians have not yet decided what they will do next summer due to family circumstances or financial problems.
Five percent of vacationers are waiting for the removal of coronavirus restrictions on travel abroad, as they believe the prices are too high.
