The Catalan club may be banned from the Champions League.
According to The Times, UEFA has launched an investigation into the Catalan football club Barcelona. The subject of the checks is a possible violation of financial fair play, which could lead to suspension from participation in the Champions League.
It is reported that in September will be announced the clubs in respect of which football sanctions will be introduced. We are also talking about PSG, Juventus, Roma and Inter.
Earlier it became known that Barcelona managed to register almost all of its newcomers before the start of the new season, except for defender Jules Kunde. To do this, the Catalans need to release about 20 million euros from the payroll.
