The survey showed that 64% of the population of Germany are worried about their future in 2023.
Residents of Germany are concerned about the current situation in the country and feel fear before 2023. Such data is cited by the newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung.
As stated in the publication, a survey conducted by British American Tobacco for the Hamburg Research Foundation for the Future showed that 64% of the population of Germany are worried about the crisis and the unstable situation. Most of them are residents of rural areas and older people.
The survey also showed that 2022 was a bad year for most of them, primarily because of the conflict in Ukraine. As a result, skyrocketing prices and inflation have made the gap between the rich and the poor larger, and this difference is growing rapidly, the newspaper noted.
