RIA Novosti analysts have analyzed the situation in the 100 largest cities in Russia and found that Moscow bankers and Murmansk fishermen receive the highest salaries. Over the past year the net salary in the capital's financial services sector was 227 thousand rubles per month.
The top 3 also included "IT and Communications" (192 thousand rubles) and "Professional and Scientific Activities" (166 thousand), which includes auditing, law, accounting, architecture, and more.
The second place in the level of salaries - Murmansk, where the fishermen earn about 200 thousand rubles a month. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky took third place, where workers in the fishing industry also get high salaries (190 thousand).
Surgut, Krasnogorsk, Magadan, Salekhard, St. Petersburg, Vladivostok and Anadyr were also among the leading cities.
Intellectual labor and financial services have become the most highly paid spheres in the country as a whole, with the former leading in 19 cities, and the latter in 18 cities.
In the "IT and communications" sector, the highest salaries are observed in 16 cities. And the difference in salaries between the leading and lagging industries is six times on average. In Chukotka, salaries are 4.5 times higher than in Ingushetia.
Earlier Golikova reminded that Russian President Vladimir Putin in his speech at the SPIEF once again confirmed the need for the minimum wage to grow faster than the subsistence level.
