From 1 March next year, Russians may officially prohibit themselves from taking out loans. The relevant amendments to legislation were approved by President Vladimir Putin on 26 February.
In order to establish this ban, an application must be submitted to a MFC or sent via the Gosuservices portal. In this way, the ban can be removed at any time.
