84% of Russians intend to provide themselves with additional income in retirement, and 16% do not think about it.
It would be enough for Russians to receive 50-100 thousand rubles for their pensions in order to live comfortably. This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted jointly by the services "Rabota.ru" and "SberNPF".
84% of respondents said they wanted to retire later than 50 years of age. 24% of them will retire at age 60-65, and 22% will retire at age 55-60. 20% of those surveyed want to retire at 50-55. Fewer respondents (18%) intend to retire after age 65. There are those who would like to retire earlier than 45 years of age, and another 6% would like to do so before the age of 35.
The vast majority of Russians intend to supplement their income during retirement (84%), while 16% are not thinking about it. Forty-six percent of citizens will live on their savings. Forty-three percent hope to make passive income from deposits and investments. Business income is expected by 24% of Russians, while 19% hope to draw financial support from their children and relatives.
As for comfortable retirement income, 15% of respondents would choose the amount less than 50 thousand rubles, and 18% of respondents would like to receive from 100 to 150 thousand. A tenth wants 150-200 thousand rubles, the same number of respondents would not mind receiving more than 200 thousand rubles.
Most Russians are satisfied with the amount of 50-100 thousand rubles in retirement.
