Russia faces staff shortage at poultry farms due to outflow of migrants

Due to the outflow of foreign labor force, large enterprises were left without workers. Shifts at poultry farms are not 100% full.

There is a shortage of personnel to work at poultry farms in Russia. This was reported by Kommersant, citing the egg production leader Sinyavskaya Poultry Farm.

The management of the poultry plant sent letters to retailers, in which it warned of possible delays in shipments and canceled orders.

The enterprise notes that it faced a shortage of personnel, including many migrants. Due to the outflow of foreign labor force, large enterprises were left without workers. Shifts at poultry farms are not 100% filled.

The factory "Siniaivinskaya" appealed to trade organizations with a request to recognize this situation as force majeure and not to impose fines for the disruption of deliveries.

The Ministry of Agriculture of Russia informed the publication that they are monitoring the situation with labor resources. According to their information, the poultry industry is increasing production of meat and eggs, and there are no problems with labor.

Rosptitsevodstvo also does not give negative forecasts for poultry production.
