Europeans do not want to freeze to death in winter in their homes and are booking rooms in Turkish hotels.
On Monday, September 19, A Haber TV channel said that the number of reservations by European tourists at hotels in Turkey has increased 1.5 times compared to last year.
"The number of reservations for November increased by 50%," A Haber reported.
The TV channel notes that amid Europe's energy crisis and the suggestion to "take doubles showers" to save gas, Europeans will continue to flock to Turkey.
Ferhan Ademhan, a board member of the Anatolian Association of Tour Operators, said the employment in Turkey's resort areas will increase because of the influx of Europeans, which will be beneficial for the well-being of the country's citizens and reduce unemployment.
